1. Operator

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using SubOwl, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

3. Description of Service

SubOwl is a subscription tracking and management platform. We help you track recurring payments, set reminders, and manage cancellations.

4. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.
One person may not maintain more than one account.

5. Subscription Plans & Payments

Free and paid plans are available. Features may vary by plan.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

6. Right of Withdrawal

Under EU consumer protection law, you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, contact us at support@subowl.co within 14 days of your purchase. We will issue a full refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal request.

By starting to use the paid service immediately after purchase, you acknowledge that you may lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided during the withdrawal period, in accordance with § 1837(l) of the Czech Civil Code.

7. Refunds

Beyond the 14-day withdrawal period, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact us at support@subowl.co.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems.
Interfere with or disrupt the service.
Scrape or harvest data from the service without permission.
Create multiple accounts or share account credentials.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and code of SubOwl are owned by the operator. Your subscription data remains yours — you can export or delete it at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, SubOwl is provided without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our maximum aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by Czech law.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Czech Republic. This does not affect your rights as a consumer under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

13. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
